RE: installing subversion

Mariana-

I use the ssh+svn protocol which starts an svnserver for each incoming
connection.

Svnserver is fairly light-weight so if you want lots of control over
access and other options then you may want the apache mod.

Subject: installing subversion

Hi everyone,

I want to have a subversion server running in a linux platform.
as far as i understood, just typing "apt-get install subversion"
subversion gets installed.

I will leave this server in a place connected to the internet, and i
want to access from another PC running Windows through SSH protocol. In
order to access the server, i have installed a client for windows
(tortoiseSVN).

My question is:
Is it necessary to install in my server an "apache" or "svnserve"
server?
Do i have to install anything else?

Thank you in advance.

Mariana.
