Can't open activity db: Permission denied

Hi guys,

So I finally have this subversion server up and going. I created the
directory tree nice and neat, and can import files from the terminal by
going
"svn import svn+ssh://myserver.com/svn/"

However, when I try to do this through a client like Tortoise it gives the
error 'Can't open activity db: Permission denied'

Any ideas?
