HI, If this is what you are talking about then i guess u can use the switches [root_at_www ~]ldd /usr/local/apache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.so libaprutil-1.so.0 => /usr/local/apache2/lib/libaprutil-1.so.0 (0xb7def000) libapr-1.so.0 => /usr/local/apache2/lib/libapr-1.so.0 (0xb7d59000) [root_at_www ~]ldd /lnx_data/apache2.0.54/bin/httpd | grep apr libaprutil-1.so.0 => /usr/local/apache2/lib/libaprutil-1.so.0 (0xb7f8f000) libapr-1.so.0 => /usr/local/apache2/lib/libapr-1.so.0 (0xb7f6d000) tar xvzf subversion-1.4.2.tar.gz tar xvzf subversion-deps-1.4.2.tar.gz cd subversion-1.4.2 (This shuld solve the problem of apr library mismatch as it will load apr library from apache else it would take default apr/apr-utils that comes alongwith the dep package) ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/subversion --with-apr=/usr/local/apache2 --with-apr-util=/usr/local/apache2 --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs Hope this helps Cheers !! Thanks. I added the subversion-deps-1.4.0.tar.gz files to the subversion-1.4.0.tar.gz files before compiling. The problem seems to be that the resulting mod_dav_svn.so uses different APR libraries than the Apache server provided in Fedora Core 5. Fedora hasn't released any RPM packages for SVN beyond 1.3, so maybe it is not possible. Next, I will try removing Fedora's Apache and install the latest Apache from the source .tar.gz. Thanks for the suggested configure command line. When I compile SVN, should I leave out the subversion-deps files so that the apr from apache is used? It seems the most likely way to match mod_dav_svn with Apache.
