Problem with commit and externals

Hi All,

I'm confused but I don't want to use my workaround for longer.

I have a Subversion / Tortoise installation under Windows XP, without
Apache.

TortoiseSVN 1.4.1, Build 7992 - 32 Bit , 2006/11/11 09:34:39
Subversion 1.4.2,
apr 0.9.12
apr-iconv 0.9.7
apr-utils 0.9.12
berkeley db 4.4.20
neon 0.26.2
OpenSSL 0.9.8d 28 Sep 2006
zlib 1.2.3

I have a project file folder with files in it, and some sub-folder
created via externals.

tgbuffer file:///E:/svnProjects/tglib/trunk/buffer

..\Project
..\Project\fileA
..\Project\tgbuffer
..\Project\tgbuffer\fileB

All the .svn file folder are not changed manually,
to avoid trouble, I made a backup of the sub folder(s), delete them and
made a svn-update.
Then there are back again.
At least I copied my backup *without* the svn files retour.

Now to the problem:

If I made a comitt for ..\Project via Tortoise I get the follwoing
error:

Error: Commit failed (details follow):
Error: Unable to open an ra_local session to URL
Error: Unable to open repository 'file:///E:'
Error: Can't open file '\E:\format': Die Syntax für den Dateinamen,
Verzeichnisnamen oder die Datenträgerbezeichnung ist falsch.

I have no idea where \E:\format come from.

If I made a commit first for ..\Project\tgbuffer (and all other subs
separate) and at least commit ..\Project ist works.

But a commit should be a single transaction!

What is wrong here?

Thanks for your help.

With best Regards
  Andreas
