Remote access...

Setting up a web server is something I have never done before. However,
I do have some experience with VPN's. I was wondering if someone could
post pros/cons about using apache2 vs. vpn for remote access to the
repsitory. I tested the file:// access using the vpn and it seems to
work fine.
