Malformed network data on commits

Good morning,
 
I am using Eclipse 3.2 and Subclipse 1.0.4 and am getting a "Malformed
network data" on commits.
 
Based on some previous posts it seems that the commit works as expected
but you need to do an update to get the client to become fully
synchronized.
 
This is a bit of a PITA (Pain in the A##$%).
 
Has anyone else run-across this and have a potential solution?
