svn 1.4.2 berkeleyDB 4.4 and auto-recovery

Hello,

Ive compiled svn 1.4.2 against BerkeleyDB 4.4 and still getting errors
like:
svn: Commit failed (details follow): svn: Berkeley DB error for
filesystem '/local/svnroot/test/db' while opening environment: svn:
DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery svn: bdb: PANIC:
fatal region error detected; run recovery.

As I understand from release notes there shouldnt be anymore such errors
because of BerkeleyDB4.4 auto-recovery feature.

System is Debian Sarge. Compiled BerkeleyDB 4.4.20
in /usr/local/BerkeleyDB4.4 and SVN version 1.4.2

Should I put something in configs to use that future or I missed
something?

Thank you for help.
