Running Subversion on a virtual machine?

From: Andy Levy <andy.levy_at_gmail.com>

We're going to spin up a new Subversion server within a week or so,
and want to do it under VMWare instead of on dedicated hardware. Given
our experience with other software, I don't expect there to be any
issues, but I thought I'd ask anyway to head off any surprises.

Is there anything I need to be careful of when running Subversion
1.4.2 under Apache 2.0.59 on Win2003 Server inside a virtual machine
running on VMWare ESX Server? Any recommendations on how to provision
it (memory allocation, etc.)?

Any other pointers (yes, I'd rather run Linux than Windows, but it's
not my decision) for this setup are appreciated.
