RE: svnserve - how to test

Season's Greetings,

Please ignore that previous post, I should of RTFM.

I used the svn checkout command locally specifying the svn://<<ip of
local machine>>/project and it worked (in hindsight that should have
been obvious).

I am now up and running with my connection to SVN from Eclipse

Subject: svnserve - how to test

Season's Greeting

I have just completed an install of Subversion on RHEL 3 and need to
figure out how to test svnserve locally.

I have successfully created a Repository using the svnadmin command, but
am unable to connect to my sever from my development environment
Eclipse.

I am assuming that it is some sort of firewall issue, but prior to
heading down that path, I would like to confirm that the daemon
"svnserve" is functioning properly first.

I would like to do this locally on the machine holding the repository
and running the svnserve process

Any ideas?
