Hello,

I tried to commit some changes to an repository.
The error message I got was
Commit failed (details follow):
MERGE request failed on [directory name]
Can't open directory '[path to
repository]/db/transactions/209-1.bin/209-1': No such file or directory

I removed the .svn directory of the file in question and checked out the
file again.
But the commit command failed again.

Checking the revision numbers I saw that the revision number has been
changed despite the error message (or vice versa: despite the increment of
the revision number I got the error message).

System: the repository has been created with SVN 1.3.2 has been updated to
1.4.0 and 1.4.2. Windows client: TortoiseSVN 1.4.1 (has also been updated
from 1.3.2 to 1.4.1)

Has anybody an idea how to fix the problem?

Greetings
Andi Kollenbach
