Well, this is a subversion list and svk is related because it is based
upon svn so talking about it is a related topic to svn. But git is a
completely different alternative. Talking about git here on the svn
list would be similar to a troll.

But having said that I will admit that I really like git and find it
to be superior to svk for distributed version control. svk is a nice
enhancment to svn for projects using svn as the main system. Note
that git has only been around 18 months or so total and is still a
little imature. Also there is no MS-Windows port for it yet so if
that may be a consideration for you as well. So much depends upon
what you need in a version control system that there is no such thing
as one size fits everyone.
