Externals en CVS

In our project, we try to maximize the use of external repositories in order to facilitate both libraries deployment and patching. The problem here is that many many projects still use CVS as SCM, so I was wandering whether it could be possible to import CVS repositories using the svn:externals property.
As I believe this is not possible yet, I really guess it'd be a great feature (request).
