svn crash upon checkout

svn crashes upon checkout, when target path is too long (used c:\documents
and settings\user\local settings\temp\target). The checkout begins normally,
but it always crashes when it reaches certain files. Happens both on 1.4.0
and 1.4.2. Doesn't happen when shorter target path is used (e.g. c:\tmp).
