I installed Subversion and all the optional stuff (apache 2,
libapache2-svn, viewcvs, subversion-tools) using the stable, then I
added the backports repository to my source.list. I used it only to
upgrade subversion and libapache2-svn to the version 1.3

No problems at all. But my server is all-dedicated to Svn, so I don't
have all that stuff that makes life complicated (i.e. kde)
