No. Later in september I moved the question to the devel mailing list
and at least I got some answers, but none of them solved the issue. I
posted the repository but it seems nobody could do anything about it.

I wanted to migrate to FSFS, as I've read it's less likely to crash
than BDB, but I can't do it while not being able to dump the current
database.

I hope you're more lucky than me.
