Odd tags during project import

I imported a project earlier this afternoon and while I didn't recieve any errors I did see some things I've never seen before that from some cursory google searching leads me to believe errors occured. What do the following lines mean?

Adding (bin) thomson2x/trunk/UI Support Files/flashTabs8.swf
Adding (bin) thomson2x/trunk/UI Support Files/collection_leftbar_buttons.psd
Adding (bin) thomson2x/trunk/UI Support Files/blue_bar_nav_template.psd
Adding (bin) thomson2x/trunk/UI Support Files/disclosure_plus.psd

And how are they different from the following:

Adding thomson2x/trunk/build.xml
Adding thomson2x/trunk/prototype_v2/viewcart.htm
Adding thomson2x/trunk/prototype_v2/general_accounting.htm
Adding thomson2x/trunk/prototype_v2/collection_byindustry.htm
Adding thomson2x/trunk/prototype_v2/search_results_title.htm

I've noticed that the (bin) error only occurs with files like gif, jpeg, psd, and most files that are not java files or folders.
