man pages

Is there a reason there aren't more extensive man pages for svn and
associated tools? Wouldn't it be possible to export some of the
existing docs into man page format somehow? Since the svnbook uses a
format that's fairly similar to a man page, and since there are existing
tools to format various stuff into man page format, seems like it might
not be so hard to accomplish.

It would be useful if the skeleton man page at least included a synopsis
of relevant environment variables and files, and perhaps a quick summary
of each of the available subcommands.
