Error resolving case for

I am completely new to subversion. I am using version 1.4.0. I have
set up a new repository with 1 project named trkc on a W2K3
server. I have started the subversion server by using svnserve
-d. I have opened port 3690 on the firewall.

Now, from a windows XP client I execute svc import .
svc:\\aurdev\e:\subversion\trkc to import the files from the current
directory into the repository on the server.

I get the following error:

svn: Error resolving case of 'svn:\\aurdev\e:\subversion\trkc'

What does this error mean? And how do I fix it?

Thank you
