Repository on ftpfs?

From: Bernd Eggink <monoped_at_sudrala.de>

IMHO it would be great to be able to access a SVN repository via an ftp
filesystem. Has anybody tried that yet?

I can create a repository in an ftpfs mounted directory (curlFtpFS), but
any subsequent "svn import file:///ftpfs-path/to/repository" hangs
forever. The only way to get out of it is to kill the curlftpfs process
itself.

Maybe the idea is completely stupid... Any ideas?

Regards,
Bernd
