Re: client hangs on Red Hat

Hi
I only saw it when running svn update.
I have an older version of Subversion (1.3.2).
When I try to run

 rpm -i subversion-1.4.0-1.i386-2.rpm

I get

error: Failed dependencies:
        apr >= 0.9.7 is needed by subversion-1.4.0-1
        apr-util >= 0.9.7 is needed by subversion-1.4.0-1
        libdb-4.0.so is needed by subversion-1.4.0-1
    Suggested resolutions:
        compat-db-4.0.14-5.i386.rpm

When I run
 rpm -i apr-0.9.12-1.i386-2.rpm
I get:

        file /usr/lib/libapr-0.so.0 from install of apr-0.9.12-1 conflicts
with file from package httpd-2.0.46-25.ent

Do these versions have anything to do with my problem?
Thanks a lot.

It hangs when you do what? Anything? Or only specific commands? Which
ones? What about something very simple, like "svn --version"?
