No, I do read many mail lists and dislike having to jump
around in different folders to do it.

It's a personal preference - I want the messages to come to
me rather than me having to go to them. Sort of like the
people who prefer options on right-mouse context windows
rather than a menu bar far away from your focus. I guess
its a religious thing...
