I don't use them for filtering, but like them as a nice backup for
filtering errors: if a higher priority filter misclassifies a message,
it's obvious just from looking at the subject line.

Thunderbird lets you set filters on custom headers, but as far as I can
see it won't edit a message to add a new one.
