Really?? I compiled 2.0.58 + svn 1.3.2 (from standard tarballs) on
Fedora Core 4, x86_64, myself, and imported a 28 GB initial revision
(r1) with no problem.

(Maybe x86_64 is different from i386? I don't know.)
