I haven't got far enough in testing with Apache 2.2/APR 1.2.x to
determine if APR works. I'm not past LDAP authentication yet. That is a
mandatory requirement for us. Can I assume any version of APR 1.2.x will
talk to Apache 2.2 compiled with any APR 1.2.x?

The Apache 2.0 experiment was with the rpms that come from Novell
support, and I compiled subversion, neon and apr that were packaged with
the Subversion tarball. I think Subversion comes with 0.9.12, and the
Novell Apache distribution is 0.9.7. Do these have to be the same?
