RE: Search all revisions for a string

So apparently the answer, from 2004 below, is to write your own search
routine using the C api:
http://svnbook.red-bean.com/nightly/en/svn.developer.html

Has anyone actually done this where those of us who aren't C programmers can
get this functionality?

If it's already been done, maybe it can be integrated into svn as 'svn
grep', although 'svn search' would seem like a less unix-centric name.

This isn't new. I've already seen a request in March 2004:
