Okay,
I started from scratch. Used the 2 tar-balls. Here attached are the results from autogen, configure, make.
Basically the 'make' falls over with :-
ld: fatal: relocations remain against allocatable but non-writable sections
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [subversion/libsvn_ra_dav/libsvn_ra_dav-1.la] Error 1
If someone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful, I have been down many blind alleys trying to resolve this today, I'm not really a Unix guru but I tell you what, I'm learning loads.
