 Currently we manage:

users: 500+
files: thousads per project
projects: 120+
depth: ?? very deep sometimes
concurrent dev. flows: 3+ per project

indeed I saw that apache.org uses just one repository (at least it looks
like so to me) for all those projects and it seems that no one is
frightened by this
