svn commit hangs

Hello,

I'm facing the following problem with subversion: I'm not able to commit
changes to my repository because subversion will just hang when I
commit, all others command work as supposed. strace didn't give any
clue on why this happens. Any idea how to solve this problem?Has anyone
faced the same problem before?
I have already unistalled an installed back subversion to no aval. I'm
using the lates stable release on Dedian sarge
