Is a 'subset dump' feasible in a way that would be faster than
the current full dump/filter operation? If so, I'd think that
all cases could be handled by an 'obliterate' operation that
completely removes the specified material from the repository
and has an option to generate the 'dump' output format for the
removed material that would permit additional filtering, loading
into a different repository or whatever else you had in mind.
