svn authentication

From: Jim Weir <javawaba_at_hotmail.com>

I can connect, import without a password no problem after install subv. Now
I want to secure svn access as described here,

http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.1/ch06s03.html#svn-ch-6-sect-3.2

My problem is when I make the modification and try to connect from Eclipse I
get this error,
Folder '' does not exist remotely.

Here's my synserve.conf,
#anon-access = read
auth-access = write
password-db = passwd
realm = studio

this is my passwd file,
[users]
root = mypassword

(when I get this working I'd like to set it up other than root, but i'd be
happy with root for now)

Thanks,
Jim
