Moving subversion repo from one machine to another

Hello,

I want to move a subversion repo (FSFS) from one box (RHEL 3)
to another (CentOS 4.3). (Both are Linux.)

Is it enough to copy the repository files & directories verbatim?
(e.g. via tar or scp -r)

I guess that svndump would work OK too.
