Re: ldap against active directory forest

Jürgen,

I don't know if this is related to your problem, but some time ago we had the
inverse problem. Our LDAP queries couldn't find our users anymore because our
LDAP client was chasing referrals to another (sub)domain.

We're using apache 2.0.54 on SLES 9 with the openldap2-2.2.27-0.1 package from
Suse. To disable chasing referrals we changed the parameter 'REFERRALS' from On
to Off in /etc/openldap/ldap.conf and restarted apache.

Hope this helps,

Lieven.
