RE: can't connect to svnserver -> Error ...target machine actively refused it.

I installed svnserve as a service on the server. It is version 1.3.2.

It is not working for anyone.

Yes svnserve.exe is running in the TaskManager.

I am using this: svn://localhost/svnrepositories/server or variations of
this.

I'm using TortiseSVN 1.3.5 build 6804

When I try to browse to this repository I get this message:

"Error*Can't connect to host 'localhost': No connection could be made
because the target machine actively refused it."

Thanks for the help and your time. I don't know much about server side
apps so any help is much appreciated.

Jim

That link just goes to a list of archived email messages and I don't see
anything relevant and you still need to provide some basic information
in order for anyone to be able to help.

Did you install svnserve as a service on the server? What version did
you install? Is it working for other people? Can you see svnserve.exe
running in TaskManager?

What url are you using in TSVN to try to connect to the server? What
version of TSVN are you using? What is the exact error message you get?
