using SVN with Linux-based K3b DVD burning software

Dear all,

I am fairly new to Subversion. I would like to make regular Subversion backups to DVD, on Suse 10 Linux, using for example K3b DVD burning software, and to do this automatically and periodically.

Is this feasible? Does anyone have any software scripts for doing this?
