You are right to point this out (though I personally refrain from making this
the only point of any posting/mail) and I am aware of the issue.
To be honest, I am ashamed that the company I work for has so little clue in
this particular aspect. Other than that, it is indeed automatically appended,
though that is not an excuse. I think I should try to see if I can't somehow
disable this misbehaviour.
My excuses to the list for the noise added to each of my mails.
