General: Recomendations for sourcing DBs

Is anyone using svn to source the DB: Stored procs, tables, functions etc...

I was thinking of sourcing each individual element as it's own file...

Sps and functions are simple enough to source.

But how about tables? Tables can either be created or altered. Should I
make the modification and rescript the whole table or should I just
track the alter or both?
