Check out Streamed Lines [1], also available as a PDF [2]. You'll find
much food for thought. Using trunk as a latest-and-greatest (LAG)
codeline is just one convention.

In your environment, where feature branches branch from other branches,
when features are developed in parallel, where are the features merged
back to? What branch do you release from?
