Re: initial setup one huge changeset or in pieces

first I had POSIX loacle on the client and UTF-8 on server and
therefore failed with the famous conversion error message. now after
making the client-side UTF-8 too I get the following error while
importing:
(hex: 4b)
followed by invalid UTF-8 sequence
(hex: f6 6c 6e 2e)

when the tree is checked out in Windows (from CVS) the file reads Köln.xml.

any ideas?
