Problems creating a tag

I am trying to create a tag, but I get an error message:

[aturner_at_www web-auth]$ svn copy svn://svn.mintpixels.com/web-auth/trunk
svn://svn.mintpixels.com/web-auth/tags/1.2.4 -m 'tagging 1.2.4'
svn: Out of date: '/web-auth/tags' in transaction '353-1'

Does anyone know what this means and how I can resolve it?
