well, if you have shell access you might still be able to get a svn server running. You would just need to use the svn+ssh access scheme which starts the server as an ordinary process that accepts connections. there might be firewall issues though. (never tried that but from what I gathered from the docs, this should work)

some hosters offer svn on their servers as well as the ability to use trac (e.g: textdrive). that might be an option as well.
