RE: New Installation Authentication Problem

How "decoupled" do you want them? Do you want them completely separate (in
separate repositories) or do you simply want them in separate directories
within the repository? There are advantages to both sides depending upon
your needs. My guess is that you want one repository with all components
included (since it is a single product). That would give you a structure
like this:

/svn/se/core
/svn/se/module1
/svn/se/module2
/svn/se/docs

Where 'svn' is the export point through Apache, 'se' is the name of your
repository, and, obviously the last component is the "project" (directory)
name.

Theoretically you could remove the /svn from the front of the paths, but
then you'd be exporting the Subversion interface to the root path of the web
server. Probably not something you want to do.

Okay, I think I see. Let me explain what I was trying to do, though,
so that hopefully you can explain the flaw in my logic and help me
understand where I strayed...

I'm responsible for a product. That product, of course, has "core"
code. We also have a number of addon modules that, while only useful
within the context of the product, are decoupled from the "core"
codebase. What I was hoping to do was create a product repository
("se") under which I could create decoupled projects like "core",
"module1", "module2", "docs", etc.

Does that make sense? Seemed like a good idea at the time, but
clearly it's not working out so well for me. :-)
