I suppose it depends on your scenario. I've opted for a combination with
a "larger" repository for library code and repositories for all projects
due to the fact that these projects rarely need modifications after
they're launched and will die after some time. I don't want to carry
a lot of old cruft in one big repository.

Besides I like to use trac for my projects which is tightly coupled
to the repository and I need different tracs for different projects.
