Track a file in subversion, but ignore it's contents?

Hi all -

Is there a way to have a file tracked by subversion, but have it's
contents ignored? Odd question, but I have an app that expects a log file
to exist with certain permissions.

I'd like subversion to create that file if it doesn't exist, but otherwise
ignore it as it's contents are temporal and shouldn't be versioned..

is that possible?

thanks!
