Well I have not installed subversion yet, that is why I'm curious as to
what else to add to the ./configure --with-ssl

The Apache / Kerberos is https:// only.

I'm still using RHEL3 u3 - with many custom built packages ;-)

Anyway, if your are using mod_dav_svn to access your subversion repos,
it sounds like you are already there. Apache is responsible for
authentication in that scenario, which it sounds like you have that
working already. Just make sure that your location can be accessed via
https and away you go - maybe you want to force https only as well, but
that is up to you.
