Info on integrating SVN with a development portal?

Hi all;

I'm discussing the possibility of adding SVN as a supported SCM toolkit
for the FSF's Savannah site. Currently they support CVS and Arch.

I know SourceForge has already done this, and maybe others; are there
any docs or howtos or other information I can look at for a leg-up on
how such a thing is best implemented? I'm somewhat familiar with the
basic concepts since I actually installed and maintained the old, free
version of SourceForge (Alexandria) on an internal site for a while.

Please note I'm not saying this will happen; there're a lot of unknowns.
I'm just in a "gathering information" stage at the moment.

Thanks!
