Re: Apache.exe eating all memory?

We have a weird problem with apache where if I use restart, clients are not able to connect, but if I do stop and start then it works.

I know there is at least one confirmed bug in 2.0.55. (with proxy posts). Can you guys try 2.0.54? 2.2 might solve the issue as well (does svn work with 2.2 yet?)

Hi Michael,

we have the same problem! Our configuration is

Win2K3 SP1
Apache 2.0.55
apr 0.97
Subversion 1.3.0 FSFS

We can reproduce the problem with the command line svn and tortoise (
Ctrl+F5 ) in repo browser. The private memory of the apache grows and
grows until all server memory is used. In that case the apache
restarts himself but the clients cannot open a connection to the
server until we reboot the Win2K3 machine. A web research didn't
result in a solution. So I'm glade to see someone else with the same
problem :-) Hope that the subversion community can reproduce our
problem and find a solution.

Looking forward to any answers or questions

Regards

Veux
