Watch http://www.sunfreeware.com/
You might be able to find the Solaris8 installer packages there within a
couple of days; the supplier is makeing them as we mail.
Saves you the build hassle.

Good luck, Roger

Subject: Has anyone built libsvnjavahl on Solaris 8 with SVN 1.3.1?

I'm trying to build libsvnjavahl.so on Solaris?

I've been able to build SVN 1.3.1 from the source, as well as the Python
SWIG bindings without a problem.

But, when I call "make javahl", I get the error:

ehillman.ctapp.wallaby:/ct/ctapp/subversion-1.3.1>
make javahl
make: *** No rule to make target
`/ct/ctapp/subversion-1.3.1/subversion/bindings/java/javahl/src/org/tigr
is/subversion/javahl/CommitMessage.java',
needed by
`subversion/bindings/java/javahl/classes/org/tigris/subversion/javahl/Co
mmitMessage.class'.
 Stop.

This comes back straight away.

I've run the configure script as recommended, and I've built and
installed everything the readme states....

$ ./configure --prefix=/ct/ctapp/svn-1.3.1 --enable-javahl
--with-jdk=/ct/ctapp/jdk1.5
--with-junit=/ct/ctbuild/javadev/tools/junit/junit.jar
PYTHON=/ct/ctapp/python241

I'm not installing to /usr/lib, but to another location on the
filesystem.

Is there anything else I'm missing? I'll attach the configure.log.

Thanks for any help,
Ed
