svnversion and svn:externals

Hi everybody,

I am using the svnversion tool to generate version information at
compile time.

While setting up a new project I started to use the svn:externals
property to include a foreign project in my working copy.

The svnversion command now returns a revision range covering the
revisions of both my local and the external project. In my case, this
doesn't make sense. Is there a way to make svnversion ignore the
svn:externals?
