Does Path based authorization exist using SVN 1.30 & Apache 2.0.55 with an Authz style permissions file?

Wanted to verify I'm trying a doable task. I noticed the 1.3.0 changelog
called out using svnserve to perform path-based authorization.
Haven't seen any announcement that it's possible with Apache; did see
this reference:

http://www.ersysgroup.com/nicholas/installation/Subversion-SUSE-9.3-and-
Apache-2

I've done path based authorization with svnserve, but have been
unsuccessful with a similar system using svn 1.3.0, apache 2.0.55, and
mixed openLDAP / Authz authorization.

Thanks much.
Ed.
