Lock request failed: 405 Method Not Allowed

hello everybody,

I ve installed SVN in a Debian Sarge Linux System and it is running fine.

I use svn client Tortoise-1.3.2 in my windows clients,

Update and Commit can be done with out any problems.
But when ever i try to lock a file i will get a "Lock request failed" error
message
" Error: Lock request failed: 405 Method Not Allowed( https://svnServerIP)
"

How can i solve this Problem? What is this due to ?
